EMBODIED

April 22 - 26, 2019

A BFA Exhibition

Embodied.JPG

Embodied was a professional group BFA Exhibition featuring the best pieces created by eight graduating Drawing majors in the School of Art at Arizona State University.  The exhibition was held in ASU's Gallery 100 in Tempe, Arizona.  The artists used a range of media, including graphite, charcoal, ink, markers, watercolor, and colored pencil.  Natalie's pieces consisted of colored pencil portraits, some of which included watercolor.  Out of respect for those in attendance, pieces with sensitive subject matter, including nudity or sexuality, were displayed in the back of the gallery in accordance with ASU guidelines.  Since Natalie's piece, Searching, contains nudity, her work was displayed along the back wall of Gallery 100.  Widely considered to be a strongly talented group of graduating artists, the exhibition was met with praise by art instructors, mentors, and visitors alike.
