UNIVERSAL EXPRESSIONS

Universal Expressions was a performative exhibition held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on March 12, 2020 in the School of Art Building in Tempe, Arizona.  It featured the work of about two dozen visual and musical artists who collaborated to create narrative projects.  Natalie's piece, which was later entitled Bailey and featured in the Embodied exhibition, was one of three visual art pieces as well as a musical score composed by Bailey Hough.  To focus the narrative around the musical composer, Natalie resolved to create a portrait of Bailey with a scenic backdrop.  For the event, Bailey performed her musical score in front of the three works of art with a projection of a changing sky upon her.
